Hardwood & Flowers Card

Good Morning!

I hope you all had a fabulous weekend! I sure did. I was very productive over the weekend and that always feels good.

As you can see, my blog has a new look. I feel it's much cleaner looking. It's still a work in progress, but I will get there! While you're here, how about exploring around to see what's new? I've added some FAQ sections in the tabs at the top of the page. My social media links are now at the top of the page. I've added a contact me form and a request a catalog form. Just poke around and check it out.

Now, on to our card share for today!

This card is so simple, but I love the look of it. I love the look of the Hardwood Background stamp and the flowers in the corner, from the Flower Shop stamp set. Both from Stampin' Up!

I used a Pink Pirouette standard A2 size card base. I stamped the hardwood in Melon Mambo directly onto the card base. I had some flowers left from the Generational Stamping technique video I did last week, so I decided to add those to the front of the card in the bottom right corner. These flowers are generations 1, 2, & 3. On the inside of the card, I added one more flower in the lower right corner. That flower is 4th generation!

Can you believe it? 4 stamped images and I only inked the stamp 1 time! I love this technique!

Here's a couple of photos of my card:

As you can see, with each generation of stamping, the ink gets lighter and lighter. I love the look!
