Today I have a very special project to share with you.
The Season To Season Wreath Kit from Stampin' Up! is SO fun to play with! It's super easy to put together and I'm going to show you how. You'll want to either heat up your glue gun (recommended) or grab your favorite glue. I would recommend Aleene's Fast Grab glue for this project if you are not going to use your glue gun.
Step 1: Gather your papers with the die cut leaves and gently punch them out.
TIP: Stack the pages and try to punch them out all at once. It truly is easier that way.
Step 2: Curl the leaves gently with your bone folder. Just like when you curl ribbon with scissors.
Step 3: Begin gluing the die cut leaves to the Styrofoam wreath. You'll want to stagger them to get maximum coverage of the wreath. I had left over leaves, which I used to fill in the spots where you could still see the white wreath.
Step 4: Once you've covered the wreath with the leaves and you're satisfied with how it looks, it's time to make the banners!
TIP: Be sure to hold your wreath up or hang it up to see how the leaves fall. You may need to add more leaves or more glue to tack down some of the leaves to make sure the wreath is fully covered.
Step 5: Cut the twine into pieces measuring inches long.
Step 6: Stamp your die cut pieces with the coordinating stamp set.
TIP: Some of the pieces need to be stamped BEFORE you punch them out and some AFTER you punch them out. Refer to the instructions in the kit on which to do what to.
Step 7: Lay a piece of the twine you just cut out in front of you in a curved or "U" shape.
Step 8: Using your liquid adhesive, glue your stamped die cut pieces onto the piece of twine.
Step 8: Tie the ribbon in a bow and attach to the wreath using the T pins provided.
NOTE: I deviated from the way Stampin' Up!'s photo shows. I didn't need the loop at the top for hanging, so I just tied it in a regular bow and attached using the T pins so I could change the bows with the seasons.
Once you have attached the bow to the wreath, it's time to show it off!
