Happy Anniversary To My Wonderful Husband - A Little Love Story

Good Morning!

Today is our wedding anniversary. Bill and I have been happily married for 7 years! We began dating 12 years ago. How time flies...

Just to give you all a brief history of our relationship, I'll tell you a bit about how we met and came to be a couple.

We met January 30, 2004 on a website called Pogo.com. Yes, we met online! Now I know what might be running through your heads. Something like, "That's so dangerous!" or "Internet relationships never work out.". I agree, meeting someone online can be dangerous. We are living proof that internet relationships can work out! :o) Anyway, we met in a game that had a chat room. Bill came in and simply said hello to everyone in the room. I was the only person to respond to him. We chatted for a while, then exchanged our messengers. At that time AOL messenger was popular. (lol) One thing led to another as we got to know each other. We exchanged phone numbers. This was over the course of about a month and a half. I know, quick! lol

One day we were talking on the phone and he jokingly said, "I'm house sitting for a family member while they're away on vacation. You should come visit and keep me company." So, we joked about it and then somehow it turned serious. We looked for flights for that particular week and off to Massachusetts from California I went!

Let me tell you, that week together was complete and utter Heavenly Bliss! We fell head over heels in love during that week. It was the week of March 17, 2004. When it was time to go back home to California, I bawled my eyes out. I didn't want to leave, but knew I had to go. I think I cried the entire flight home!

Back at home, we resumed our daily phone calls. I was miserable that we weren't together physically in the same state. So, we started talking about me moving to Massachusetts. Only because he still had under age children and my daughter was almost 18. It was 2 months before her 18th birthday when I moved. Sad, but happy at the same time. My daughter wanted to stay in Cali with her grandma. That was her home. She was born and raised there, so I understood not wanting to leave her friends, etc.

June 6, 2004, I moved to Massachusetts to be with the man of my dreams! It's been Heavenly ever since! We rarely get angry with one another. If we do, it's over in minutes. We don't fight "dirty", we're respectful, even when mad. We never name call, unless it's "honey, sweetheart, or some other term of endearment". :o)

I could write a book on this, and it looks like I have a good start to one here! Sorry! I just wanted to give you an idea of how we met and fell in love.

After being together 12 years, 5 dating and 7 married, I can honestly say, I have never been happier or more in love in my life! Bill truly is my knight in shining armor, my Prince Charming, my soulmate, my world, my everything!

Bill, I love you more than words can express. You've made my life so much better, so much happier, so much more than it ever was before we met. Happy Anniversary Sweetheart. I love you with all my heart and soul. You are the ONE for me! Always have been, always will be! ALL My Love ~ Pat
