Name The Card Series Contest

Hello Friends!

Today I have something different for you. My husband, Bill, is my biggest supporter! He's got my back, no matter what. He encourages me to create and share my projects. He's Mr. Wonderful in my book! *smile*

Bill would like to start doing a weekly series on my YouTube channel where he creates a card featuring a different stamp set each week.

We're at a loss as to what we should name this new card making series. That's where you come in. *wink*

Please watch the video below for all the details. Please go to YouTube to leave a comment. Comments left on my blog won't count, sorry. We're trying to make this as easy as possible for everyone involved so there's no confusion as to who entered and who didn't. I hope you understand.

Open to everyone, including international viewers!

Thank you SO much for your support! We love ya! Good luck! - Pat & Bill

2015-2017 In Colors Card Set

Hello Crafty Friends!

I know I'm a little behind. A day late and a dollar short. BUT, I wanted to make a card set featuring our New 2015-2017 In Colors.
This set came together really quickly! When I'm making several of the same card, I have a streamline process I go through.
First, I cut my card bases, score and fold them. Next, I cut out all of the circles using a Spellbinder's die. Then I stamped all of the images using the Butterfly Basics Stamp Set. I adhered the circles to the card bases using dimensionals. Finally, I tied a pretty bow using  the new in-colors Dotted Lace Trim and glued it to the bottom of each circle.
If you create your cards in an assembly line fashion, they get done quicker and all at the same time!
I hope you find some inspiration in the cards I made today.

9 Cards - ONE Sheet of 12x12 DSP

Hi There Crafty Friends!

This past weekend I was playing in my craft room and decided to see how many cards I could make with one sheet of 12x12 Designer Series Paper (patterned paper).
I was able to make 9 cards! I could have done more had I cut some of the larger pieces down a bit, but, I really like the cards I made.
These are simple cards that are easy to recreate for anyone, from beginners to seasoned card makers.
I wanted to use as few supplies as possible. For those of you that are just starting out, I totally understand that you may have limited crafting supplies.
These are all standard A2 size cards, which is 4 1/4" x 5 1/2". There will be a video on my YouTube channel shortly sharing these cards.
Products used are all from Stampin' Up! I used Whisper White card stock, Best Year Ever DSP, rhinestones, epoxy stickers, Stampin' Dimensionals, Crazy About You stamp set, Crisp Cantaloupe ink pad, Strawberry Slush ink pad, Whisper White Baker's Twine, Best Year Ever Designer Buttons.
Without further ado, here are the 9 cards I created:

I hope this inspires you to give it a try! It's fun trying to figure out how to cut and design the cards to get the most out of 1 sheet of paper!

Thanks for stopping by! Hugs, Pat
