A Little FYI
Hi Everyone!
I hope you all had a fabulous Mother's Day, if you celebrate, that is. Well, I hope you had a fabulous day no matter what!
I had the most awesome Mother's Day EVER! If you are Facebook friends with me, then you probably saw the incredibly touching, heartwarming message my daughter, Cassie, sent to me. If you're not on my Facebook, why not?! I would love more crafty friends or just friends. Anyway, you can send me a friend request if you would like and then you can see the message I'm talking about.
The only thing that would have been better for Mother's Day is, if I was able to physically be with my daughter on that day. We live in different states. She's in Wisconsin and I'm in Massachusetts. It's been about 3 years since I last saw her and my grandkids. I miss them terribly. My daughter and I have always had a very close bond. It's hard to be away from her.
So, last night I get a call from Cassie's boyfriend, John. He wants to fly me to Wisconsin to visit for a week! This is his birthday present to her! Cassie's birthday is May 12th and that's the day I am flying in!
I cannot wait! Seriously, I'm so giddy I don't know what to do with myself! The excitement, the anxiousness it's so overwhelming, but in a good way! *smiles*
I really wanted to share this with you and to tell you that I won't be posting anything until I return. Right now I am not sure what day I am coming home, but I know it will be next week.
I hope you all have a wonderful week! I know I will! I will take lots of pictures to share with you all.
Until then...Happy Stampin'! Pat

Happy Mother's Day!
Good Morning!
I would like to wish all the moms, grandmas, step-moms, or anyone in a "mom" role, a very Happy Mother's Day!
I hope your day is filled with love and laughter. Life is too short to not enjoy your time with your mom or your kids.
Kids grow up so fast. Moms go to Heaven way too soon! Remember to cherish each other and tell each other often how much they mean to you and how much you love them!
Mother's Day is a hard day for me. My mom passed away in 2008 and my mother-in-law passed away in 2013. My daughter lives in Wisconsin. It's just a hard day to "celebrate".
On a lighter note, I do have my step-daughter here, in Massachusetts! Her and I have a great relationship. She treats me like a mom. *smiles*
Moms, hug your kids a little tighter today. Kids, tell your moms how wonderful they are!
Enjoy your time together! Happy Mother's Day!

Happy Valentine's Day!
Hi Lovely People!
I just wanted to wish you a Happy Valentine's Day! I hope that you're doing something special with someone you love. Even if you're single, you can still enjoy the day! Pamper yourself. Take yourself out to a nice meal. Do whatever you love! I used to do these things before I met my husband. Believe me! I spent many Valentine's Days enjoying my own company. After all, if you don't love yourself, how can you expect someone else to love you? Enjoy your day!
